About This Initiative

Advancing collaboration and access to genitourinary cancer clinical trials across Southern California.

Our Mission

To unite Southern California's cancer community and establish the region as a leading hub for excellence in cancer care, research, and clinical innovation, starting with genitourinary cancers.

Our Origins

This initiative grew out of the Annual Southern California Genitourinary Cancer Research Forum, launched in 2024. The forum was created to bring clinicians together across institutions, enabling the open exchange of clinical trial portfolios, research insights, and emerging therapeutic strategies in genitourinary oncology.

As the field continues to evolve rapidly, with new therapies, biomarkers, and clinical trials activating across individual sites, the need for a centralized, continuously updated resource became clear.

Why This Website

Clinical trial availability changes quickly, and access to accurate, up-to-date information is critical. This website was created to bridge that gap by providing a shared platform where:

  • Providers can identify active clinical trials across Southern California institutions.
  • Patients and families can explore potential trial options that may be relevant to their care.

Our goal is to make collaboration easier, visibility broader, and access to clinical research more equitable across institutions, specialties, and communities.
